TMC makes its drivers double clutch?
I now I'm going to catch some flak for this but i don't know how...
When I was learning how to drive my trainer told me and I quote "If you put your foot on that clutch again I'm going to cut it off and beat you with it!" LOL

I been reading your post and appreciate all the info, I'm still in school but am hoping to hear back from TMC. Sounds like a place where you'll really get some good training. Already have a pre-hire from CRE but from what I've read I really want to get on with TMC. Wish me luck I'll post back and let you all know if I heard back from them.

    d"kota,

I'm at des moines right now for the 12 days of training with TMC, and they have a great training program. I would have to say the worst of it is the pay. 300 a week for the 12 days and 350 a week for the 5 weeks of OVR training. But well worth working for a company like TMC. If you have any question about the training dont hesitate to ask!!

You do need to follow up on your application. There is a fine line to tread between appearing to be ambivalent or desperate. You want to be persistent and polite on the phone. You do not want to be impatient or demanding to the recruiter, but they need to see that you are going to follow through on the things that matter.

    d'kota,

Ask for a guy name Gus. I was turned down the first time I applied and he got really mad and sent my application to his boss and pushed for me. He will bust his butt for anyone he feels is qualified. Let me know if there is anything else I can answer.
