Truck Pro has the red mesh flags with the metal rods thru them. I like the metal rods, because you can bend them for irregular attachment

There's two different types of mesh, the plasticky kind that tears up right away and the cloth kind that lasts a long time. Seems like the orange come in plastic and the red come in cloth. I found both at Truck Pro.
If you are a do-it-yourselfer http://www.seattlefabrics.com/mesh.html check that out. I've done biz with these folks and recommend them.
I thought about making coveralls out of mesh for those A-hole shippers who insist you wear long pants/sleeves even when it's 100 deg. and 100% humidity.SHC and Mommas_money_maker Thank this. -
I was talking the cloth ones for sure, that plastic stuff is junk. All you end up with is some colored plastic with a bunch of white threads flapping in the wind
SHC Thanks this. -

Man I got a mental pic in my head of someone wearing those coveralls with just a jockstrap on underneath, LMAO!

I use the flags on the quick connects for the front, and pole flags on the rear. Pole flags have been on the rig for @2yrs now, and more like 4yrs for the quick connect ones. Guess you are buying from truckstops etc?
Iowa80 has the better ones if you go by there and want it sticking to you.

I use to pull oversized farm equipment and was regularly breaking those wooden sticks getting in and out of tight, brushy, overgrown field entrances. I found some stiff springs just the right size, cut the wooden sticks in half just bellow the flag and stuffed each end into the springs. No more broken sticks. They lasted a few years.
