    Oh crap.
    Now all the newbie truck driver candidates are going to buy a ratty SUV and try to become OS/OD escorts.
    We will need a new category for all their questions about which is the best vehicle to buy for escort service? Which is the best gas card to use. How do i log these trips. Do i need to get paid on a 1099 or should i hire a driver for my SUV and pay him on a W-2?

    That s scary. Could you imagine a newbie escort following his or her GPS taking an oversized, over dimension, over height load down a restricted road or one with a low clearance?

    Remember the truck that took out a bridge, (Wa. or Or.), in the northwest a couple of years ago. The escort couldn't be bothered with clearances as she was on cell with hubby! These escorts have huge responsibilities when they bother to do their job. Presumably, hopefully, most of them do.

    I have a local company charge me $200 for 2 cars and a 30 mile trip. Not sure how they make money like that but it's great for me. I rarely pay for them myself though, usually the broker I work with hires their own.
