Oscilloscopes. Analog vs digital XY mode comparison

    This is pretty interesting stuff. The scope can't display what it doesn't see.
    If it doesn't see things accurately or display them accurately then how it would it be possible to make accurate adjustments?

    C949F752-10A6-43BC-8D41-682359382AF6.jpeg Alan is a very knowledgeable guy, I really enjoy his videos. I personally like the CRT scopes, just because they offer a clearer vision of the signal you are looking at.
    A big feature about the digital scopes I really like, is their small footprint compared to a CRT scopes.
    I really like the X-Y mode. I use it a lot. To me it’s the poor mans spectrum analyzer. If you see the 3 edges of the trapazoid are straight, you basically know your transmitted signal should be clean. Of course you can visually see things better with a spectrum analyzer, such as harmonics, etc.
