OMG, a Conway load with CFI is a drive and you can't even stop for a bathroom break! At least when I was there it was, they had just started getting those loads. I ran ONE Conway load, and after that I told my dispatcher never again. Told them I'd quit and go elsewhere, and they never asked me to run another one after that!

Conway and FedEx loads were the same way back when I first started driving. And that was over 20 years ago, at Covenant.

I never did any Conway loads during my brief time at CFI, but that was back when it was still the original CFI. And they allowed me to have my cat with me, too.

FedEx I didn't mind, but those Conway loads were something else. I kid you not, that was a new account for them so they were trying to impress Conway. The policy on Conway loads was that if you had to go to the bathroom, you needed to go before you pick up the load because they (cfi) didn't allow a driver to stop at all. Thought about asking them: what, so just don't stop for the scales, the highway patrol or the city police? And you say original CFI, I didn't know about that. Was there from 99 to 2005. Neat thing was that at the first of the year in 2000, they were assigning out new trucks. When I got mine it was #2000. Wished I had taken more pics than what I did out there, but after taking pics of every state line (except HI & AK) kinda got burnt out on picture taking. And I didn't have any cats when I was out there. I would've been too paranoid though cause I would stop at a rest area and with my luck the cat would jet out the cab when I was getting out, and then I would have to leave right then, and there's no way in HE-double toothpicks that I would abandon an animal like that.

I was there in the summer of 2003. When I say "original CFI" I mean CFI as it was when Mr. Brown and Mr. Schmidt were in charge, before they sold out to Conway.

And my cat didn't like it when I had the door open because he was scared of the outside noise. The driver's side window had a crank, but the passenger side window was electric so I pulled the fuse that way he couldn't accidentally step on the button and roll the window down.
