Screw it up and I'll track you down and kick you in the shin..haha.. Occasionally I wish I could take a set of Phoenix or Long Beach pups we built all the way out there. Sounds like you have a pretty sweet deal lined up there and I wish you the best of luck man..

    Jay1000x Thanks this.

    Thank you very much.
He is going to test me Monday to see how well I drive, so as long as he thinks I can drive, I'm in. :biggrin_25520:

What lilbit said and driving in the NJ/NYC area should get you all the driving experience you need, lol. Starting this late in life, with girls at that age and wanting to hit the road would be a big mistake. In your 1st year, you would be out for weeks at a time.
I know $18 per hr. isn't much up your way (DC area here, so I understand), but at least you can still drive/learn and be there for your girls. That's more important at this stage in their lives.
    Good luck.
Just saw your last post. Now you can do a little OTR and not jeopardize your family life. Congratulations and don't eff it up!

No, everything is out and back. Once in a great while they might have us bypass a meet point and run all the way to the other terminal - did that one time a couple years back. After the snowmageddon last year a bunch of Charlotte drivers ran all the way up here but that's about it.

They might still run lay downs out west but I'm not real sure.

A friend of mine runs the system here, Goes where they want when they want him to wherever, Cab fare and motels are picked up by the company,...He makes a ton of cash that way and seems to really enjoy it,...
