Well another day has come and gone, didn't hear a peep from my trainer. I'll be calling him in the AM to let him know that I am eager to get started and I picked the 20th as the day I wanted to leave because I truely want to get going. I'm hoping this doesn't turn into a waiting game, I have very little patients when it comes to being put off for whatever reason. Hope everyone is having or has had a good day, More later....Be Safe!

Yeah, your right, I've been up close and personal with that before. I've ust read the horror stories about trainees sitting at home for weeks. :biggrin_25513:

I spent 13 years in Uncle Sams Army, so I'm familiar with "Hurry up and wait". Thanks though! :biggrin_2552:

HOOOOO-RAAAHHHHH! I spent 22 years in the Army. Ricey, if I may ask, why did you get out after 13 years brother? You were very close to the 20. What did you do in the Army. My ID tells you my old Army Job.

An honor to meet you MP, I "was" a 63D30 until I was told my skills were obsolete. lol I was mulling over getting out anyway, Dad passed while I was doing the Desert Storm/Desert Shield road trip. Mom thought she needed me home, so...... Do I regret getting out? Everyday! Loved it!

So the U.S. Army offered to buy me out, showed me the money, and I got out.

If you were ever stationed around Artillery, I was probably nearby.

    *UPDATE*

Just talked with Marc, my trainer, he's headed up to WI and said he could pick me up on his way through, so it looks like tomorrow will be the day! Holy, chicken chunks!

I was in the AF for 10 years, jet fighter mechanic. Wish I would have stayed in for the 20.
