OTR with Millis Trainer

I may have the record for day 2 behind the wheelwhen I was with Marc, 630 miles I believe. How's that Jared?

 

Passed my CDL test today, got my license! The gods were against me though. Got out to truck with the examiner, did pre-trip, no issues, get in truck to check lights with examiner, headlights...check, right turn signal....check, left turn signal...your left isnt working. WTF, we just spent over an hour doing an inch by inch pre-trip, sure enough, not working. Ask if i can work on it, sure, go ahead. Change bulb, fixed!

Roll through all the skills course, no problem. Exminer tells me to head out onto the real road, I'm thinking that I made it through the tough stuff, the road is "my turf". Did a short ride around an airport, a few lefts, a few rights, construction zone, got cut off at least once, right turn into the facility, DONE! Good Times!!

 

I didn't even know where the windshield wiper switch was yet...lol

 

Hometime this weekend, first in 4 weeks, I'm due! Rented a car in Trenton/Hamilton and beat feet for Illinois. Everyone have a great weekend, I'm headed to Chi-town tomorrow.
