Pretty busy. On 8/11 I left the house with the odometer at 508142. It's now sitting at 512678 on 8/20. 10 days of driving, a 34 hour reset, 3 loads delivered, 1 short-haul pay, 2 extra stops on one load (with full lumber tarp pay), so it's been a good trip. 4536 miles is running the way I like to.![]()

Wow, do they always keep you that busy? Things have been pretty slow over my way until recently. I've had a few nice long runs this past week and actually been receiving preplans. Are the trip planners finally starting to come around and do their jobs? I wouldn't put money on it but at least theres some light. BTW, man-handle any transmissions lately?

Wow, haven't seen you in a while. They always keep me that busy, but they don't always keep me earning that much. The short loads can really take a toll on flatbed with all the tarping. It sucks doing 3 tarps in a single day. When I loaded in Bend, Oregon, it was a full lumber load requiring tarps. 103 degrees out. I've also been receiving preplans since I left the house. I haven't done anything worse to a transmission than Bob did, that's for sure, but I seem to be slowly leaking oil. I've got a load heading to Wisconsin after I drop this (yep, pre-plan!), so I'm guessing they'll fix it in Marshfield.
