out with my trainer

nope. not sure who was grillin. we were inside watching tv. we went to the mexican place up the road. yes there is a tv. but the dryer is dying you have to let it cool down and restart a couple times

okay sorry for the delay in posting. We were running all types of hours and i was just plain tired. We went up to richfield which i think is one of the nicer terminals i have visited. Way cleaner than Eden. So anyways we ran there so that we could get some kind of load to trenton so Butch could go home for memorial day weekend. Well we saw a couple trucks bobtailing to find empties i think so we were like oh great were gonna be sittin here for a while. well we get there and drop the trailer we had and i started looking for a new one. Found 3 empties so we parked in front of one of them and hit ready for dispatch. Pat comes back with a message about me sitting in Richfield until about 11:45 pm ( it was 1pm when we got there) to wait on another truck that was headed to Trenton. I was like oh great i am going to be stranded in Richfield by myself for hours and hours. They gave me the truck number and gave Butch a load going to New York so he could get home. So I grabbed one of my bags and my laundry and sat up in the lounge waiting. I was thinking oh great what driver are they gonna set me up with? I was thinking i was going to be a big hindrance to the guy and he would probably be pissed. then they told me i would be in trenton by 6am so i was thinking yeah right the guy is probably going to get to richfield and have to go on his 10 hour break. So i sat in the lounge watching tv with a couple other drivers who were waiting to get their trucks fixed. I got hungry so i went across the street to the little diner in the truckstop and had some delicious country fried steak. Also picked up some kick ### beef jerky. So back to the terminal i go. Finally as time ticked closer to 11:45 a guy walks in and calls my name. He looked familiar and told me he was going to get a quick shower and then we were out of here. I was excited now because i was on my way home. Well come to find out that driver was Mojo....lol. Oh man we had a good time driving back to Trenton. Even though i had been up since like 6am that day i tried to stay awake to chat. Mojo is a great guy. We laughed, shared stories, looked for hot eye candy.. it was a great trip. He had a load of dunnage to go back to miller by trenton so we dropped that off first. I will tell you what. Mojo can back some truck up. He put that trailer in the tightest spot i had seen and he only pulled up once. I was super impressed. He made that spot his #####. I was sad to get back to the terminal and leave such great company. Hope our paths meet again sometime Mojo. I owe you some dinner for letting me hitch a ride with you. So i will continue my adventures next week. Until then be safe out there for the holliday weekend.
