Well, day two is in the books. Only 278 miles in today. Ended up sitting around Randolph beer distributor waiting on a load. Spent the time doing aa little studying and practiced my pretrip. Finally got a drop and hook load of beer out off Baldwinsville, NY. So we deadheaded 352 miles picked up beer at Budwieser and headed to terminal in Weedsport to spend the night. All in all a good day. Heading to Colonial Heights, Va. Ya'll be safe!

Day 3 done. Ran from baldwinsville, ny to colonial heights, va wiith a load of beer. Got to receiver at 8pm. Had a 4am appt. Time and they took us early. Had a preplan of glass from toano that we are getting loaded right now and after that, we are off to albany, ga. 269 miles yesterday. Should end up with 400 plus miles today. Another good day

There's another millis driver loading here as well. Super nice guy, saw I was frustrated with my backing skills, lol, he offered lots of encouragement without being judgmental or condescending (I'll get his name before we leave) . Each day makes me more confidant that I made the right choice coming to Millis. Rarely do I hear anything negative from any of the drivers I meet and they are always encouraging and willing to answer any questions.

Just curious...anyone have any idea why it rains every time I get behind the wheel?????

Yeah, for sure not looking forward to my first snowfall, I'll be the Millis Truck going really, really slow...lol. but I'll be okay.

Just to add to my previous post, the Millis driver I talked to while loading in Toano, Va. Is Dave. Once again, super nice guy.

Day 4. Ran from colonial heights, va to albany, ga, dropped trailer and stayed at the yard there. Got iin 513 miles . Liike to see those mileage numbers go up. Still a long way to go but I'm sure iit will go by quickly.

I'm getting more comfortable iin the drivers seat every day and look forward to gettting in my own truck.
