Both my stars do it also..
I know other people with same issue..
When you key the mike on your vhf look at the temp quage. It will start dropping and it beeps to alert you of ice.
Not sure why they do this but they do.
Another thing both my trucks do is the pyro and fuel gauge will drop to 0 once in a while for no reason.. it's a Star thing . Lol -
Sure it is not the ice warning?
Mine would do it when ever the temperature dropped to just above freezing.
At least that is what it is supposed to do. -
Ya I’ve heard all stars do it I was hoping I could find away around it I see why the last driver had it unplugged lol.
-
Maybe I'm just used to it.
Doesn't really bug me anymore. -
Cascadia's do it too.

Ok thanks for the reply’s so it’s not just my truck lol

Mine does it too. Never noticed it with factory installed CB....I never turn it on, but I added a two-way radio for my bush channels and it does it. When you key the mike it drops the temp and it beeps for the ice warning.
