Since you use the AG exempt do you know if you are suppose to use a log book at all if you do not leave that 150 all day?

Our guys log time in a book, now, though not an hos grid type book, in lieu of going to a time CV lock to punch in and punch out. The poultry guys are now short haul and livestock exempt from ELDs.
The ELD was problematic when too far from good cellular coverage, mine flaked out with the auxiliary unit that was tried to eliminate that problem. Screwed it up for a week.AfterShock and Coffey Thank this. -
To be fair, that's an implementation issue, not an ELD issue. There are a couple stand alone units that do not even connect to the interne. Most that do only require connection to sign in and can run all over the place without needing a connection.

That's back when I worked for Werner in 2004. There was no way I could falsify anything because it was a computer log.

EROAD doesn't appear to work that way. Best to never sign in on another truck and try to sign out on that other truck, either.ZVar Thanks this.
