I'm at 14'4" right now, my permits from Columbus Ohio to Brighton Colorado have me basically ruining i70 across. Illinois had me going i70~57~64~255~270. Missouri to mo370 back to 70. I didn't start getting squeamish till I got into Missouri when I stated noticing some heights that were 14'10". I know I'm under as I measured with a height pole, but still, it's close enough to make the pucker factor increase

Yea, some states have good references. Mi, IN, WA, etc. Others not so much. I also don’t trust the routing because I’ve been done wrong. Just looking for an alternate way of researching bridge Heights nationally. Didn’t know if there was a app or something you can pay for?

No problem on that route, the lowest bridge is a rr bridge just west of Saint Louis, don't remember how high but Missouri would route you arond(can't ramp)
The rest of the way should clear 15' 6". Make sure you go the routed way thru KC. Don't go on the Kansas turnpike, after you get back on 70 west should be no worries.

Missouri interstates 14 tall is legal

This doesn’t answer your question, but it could help you from going past your last exit towards a low bridge. My garmin dezl has height settings and in 6 years it hasn’t let me down yet. I ran thru Detroit tall a couple times a week and it helped until I knew where I was going. When I first got it I drove around my city testing it on every low bridge I knew of and it warned me about each one.

just a heads up. Make sure your mo and Kansas permit line up. I435 crosses the state line in two places. I had a new permit agent miss that one time.

What size are you? Colorado allows some OD to run in the dark.
You don' want to run in Denver during rush hour anyway. That city is a mess.

It doesnt even have to be rush hour. It can be a cop giving a ticket on a side street, not even on the interstate and the people there go on stupid mode.

A lot like dealing with snowbirds and tourists in and around Orlando. You roll the dice any time of day on I4.
