Over height in Alberta

    Can I travel at night in Alberta being 14 ft 5 inch tall I have a yearly permit

    You’re good to go by an inch. Under 14ft 6in is the limit for night operations.

    If you have a permit, open it up and read the operating conditions for answers to these questions.

    Over 5.3 Meters (17 Feet 4 Inches)
    Notify Power and Telephone. **DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY**
    Over 6.0 Meters (19 Feet 8 Inches)
    Province and / or Municipality Approval Required.

    I actually read the permit 3 times and section 6 about the height is vague and did not mention anything about night driving.
