Well it sounds good, until you start breaking it down.. Rte. surveys can be cheap and easy, or they can cost some bucks.. The taller the ld. the more problems with rteing. I have seen rte. survey costs as high as 1500.00 because of the miles involved plus days..
Then you figure at least 1.65 for a pole car and 65.00 a night for overnights. Then no goes can get spendy.. Mim. 150.00 for that.
Permits for wght if any on that ld. can be kinda spendy as Tx. La. Ms. are nt cheap wght states. Just high or wide not to bad. flat fee.
Then La. might get a wild hair and say with that hgt. you need police.. They are cash on the barrel head at the end of the run.. They charge per hour..
Sothat good paying ld. can go south real quick

    Hurst and tucker Thank this.

That height probably would have been a "super" in Florida and 2 weeks to get permits if your lucky.

Man. I just did my first run with my conastoga at 109" as was thinking wow this is a lot tighter going through construction and oncoming traffic on 2 lanes. My hats off to you hurst.
    :notworthy:
I was backing into a space this morning and the truck behind me disappeared. I see a lot more GOAL for straight line backs in my future.

    passingthru69 and Hurst Thank this.

Your 109" full time? That's more than 3" per side so isn't that oversized?

There's an exemption for those kits. When we're chained to our D rings on a 102" trailer we're over width but it's ok.

    102 +3+3=108

My point was you are 109

So what JD is talking about is a different regulation
