I dont think I ever seen a 13ft boat on a stepdeck. How much does the state required bucket truck for that high of a load cost
I honestly do not know all of the costs involved. What I do know is that Fla has way too many unmarked bridges that are well under 16'. I dont think a step deck is the right trailer for the job. Could it be done on a step? Well probably yes,.. its a very versatile trailer. How ever,. as Carl said,.. they have trailers designed specifically for boats like that. I've seen a few good sized boats going down the road on them. Its a specialized niche that when done properly will cost a bit more than what they offered to pay. Hurst
Bucket trks charge by the hour, plus hotel costs if overnight is involed There are companies that's all they do It can run into thousands of dollars
I've never been tempted to haul wide in or out of the keys. Legal is bad enough if you're down in Key West proper. Wide down to Tavernier or so would be easy, though. Lately I've only seen tourist rates down to the keys, so I don't touch them. You know your truckin when you cross over Duval St.
Plenty of house boat companies right here in KY. I worked for some time ago and got to do the electric on Ray Steven's, it was actually pretty nice for a house boat tbh!!!!
