I have been working on the road for nearly three years now, with my third anniversary approaching in October. I recently met someone and have also obtained my endorsements. I am now considering a temporary relocation to a local position near Eighty Four, PA for a few years. I would prefer to retain my Florida license as I intend to return there eventually. Any advice on how to navigate this situation would be greatly appreciated. I hope you are all doing well.

A few years is not exactly temporary. Most states require you to transfer your license to your new residence withing 30 days.
What is there to 'navigate'?

You'd have to find a company that hires in Florida and PA.Retrovirus Thanks this. -
Nah, it's not really about the state income tax. It's more about the hassle of switching and then switching again when I know I'm not gonna be there more than a few years. I mean, people do it all the time for college, right? Plus, according to the Florida DMV, if I were to come back after switching my license over to a different state, I have to prove 6 months residency before I can even switch it back.
