Yeah, it's probably gonna be tough to find a job like that. Either way, I'm going there, whether I have to switch my license or not. I just would've preferred not to. Do you guys have any recommendations for the Morgantown, 84, Uniontown area?

Switch isn’t a big deal you show proof of residency take an eye test and go.Seems very strange that is what you are hung up on a hassle ?If you truly own a residence in Florida you might can legally keep them but not if you’re just using your parents address in Florida.Just switch then switch it back if go back.

Not so easy now according to Florida Current law requires customers to present proof of legal name, lawful presence, social security number and two forms of residential address (must show proof of six months of residency).

Commercial Driver License and Commercial Learner’s Permit
    Changes to residence requirements.

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles has determined that proof of residential address submitted to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) or Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) does not always meet the Florida residence requirements. Therefore, in order to ensure each applicant is a “Florida Resident,” all customers applying for an original CDL or CLP must present one of the documents to establish Florida residency:
A current Florida Driver License or Florida Identification Card held for a period of more than six (6) consecutive months.
A lease agreement, in the customer’s name, that has been in place for a period of more than six (6) consecutive months.
A current residential mortgage, in the customer’s name, signed more than six (6) months ago.
A residential deed in the customer’s name, signed more than six (6) months ago.
    A Florida Voter Registration Card.
A statement of domicile files with the Escambia County Clerk of Court
A homestead tax exemption on property in Florida. Proof of homestead can be found by visiting EscambiaTaxCollector.com and clickin

Yes that pretty much every state for a CDL .The 6 months doesn’t mean you have to live in Florida for 6 months it means you have to show where you have lived for the last 6 months

Very few states have a rule like Florida's new one.
