11,900lbs steer tires 35,800lbs on drive 31,000lbs on trailer. 5th wheel all the way up and trailer tires all the way up. Tank 1/2. Moving from Houston TX to Memphis TN. Anyway to get around this without needing to be reworked?
Over weight help?

moving fifth wheel only helps steers. to much on the noise.

I’d roll with it but that’s just me. May have to have it reworked. Or you could jam it into reverse, mash the throttle then slam on the brakes.

It's been several years but to go from Houston to Memphis in general you can go up US 59 to I 30 then on to Little Rock and east on I 40. However your going to have problems with the Hope Arkansas scale. I suggest you rework it.

Because it has been so dang long since I crossed those Hope Scales I can't remember which is which. your under total gross and over 1800 on your drives. I can't remember if that dang scale is a super coop are just one with an older static scale. If it's an older static scale I would just run with it. Unless Arkansas has that east bound scale in West Memphis operating the Hope Scale is all that is in your way. (of course just as soon as I hit post someone will report another scale in Texas operating on US 59.)

1. get it reworked 2. Go around scale house 3. Pay the fine but they might not even pull you around for that.

Anyone know what happens if you cross a scale like this and cannot get the axle weights legal? Do they make you rework it there or just give you a ticket and away you go?

run it, as long as you are under 80k, i run over on my trailer and the only scale that will flag me is winchester VA, i run TX to nyc.
