It seems like that variant venture dragged them way down. Just from what I've been seeing this past year. Some kind of gimmicky dispatch software and way over hiring. But I don't really know.

 

It's really quite amazing, that many of these companies are reluctant to pay a driver a decent wage, or keep miles to a minimum, not pay for routine things like breakdown, waiting, etc, but then have a million dollars to get out of a bad idea from the beginning like Variant, or half a million for this, $400,000.00 for that, etc.

 

Its not amazing or surprising, its literally the way the system was built in the first place, the amazing thing is anyone was ever paid decently in the past
