2013 international pro star Maxxforce 13 went in for an overhead valve adjustment At an international dealer, and within an hour Two fuel injectors failed. They claim it has nothing to do with the overhead and we have no way to verify this. It seems extremely unlikely to us that it is just coincidence, any one experience this before? Is this a common thing to happen if you do an adjustment wrong? Any advice?
Thank you.

I believe those are common rail fuel systems, so nothing in the valve train physically touches the injectors. Unless the tech damaged the injector harness or connections at the injector I'd have to say its a coincidence.

Regardless, theres no way to prove anything unless you are there when they pull the cover and know what to look for.

All you can do is ask to see them and check to see if the tops are damaged where the harness connects. Each injector has two little studs sticking up to make the electrical connection. If they are damaged, it is possible something got dropped on to them during the set up.

I just wouldn't take my truck to a dealer.
