Los Angeles has 16,500 sleeping in vehicles nightly.

Search under the topic “Stealth Camping” online. For some it’s a way to keep that job in THAT city. Shower at a gym and eat at Mickey Ds daily. Contractor van with a few amenities.

For others (with $$$) its a way to ignore National Park and Forest regulations. Sprinter-based $150k Moho. The a-wipes with their special clothing to hike & bike. At basehead parking lot of a trail. Etc.

I participate on several RV forums. The first group never realizes that without a propane system (hot water + furnace + cooking) they’re kidding themselves. Plus, fuel mileage is terrible for someone who’s broke. (An Aero Airstream-type trailer is “the answer”; plenty of old ones).

The second group is MUCH more fun as that unreal selfishness makes them moral leper’s. The only challenge is in finding new ways to insult them. Leftists to a man (a xer?).

Im not surprised. Down by Little Rock the Law routinely rousts the sleepies and gets them to move along, if they tried to make trouble resisting they are told the Jail has nice concrete beds to sleep on. Which is it? They are gone.

There’s that group that thinks having ####### children and/or “living” on disability makes ‘em special.

You can sink farther and farther. There’s an end.

During the Great Depression several million Americans starved to death. Cause of death was written up to an illness they couldn’t fight off or an accident. Etc.

And then there were those for whom “disposal” was undertaken by locals.
