Overqualified.

Call me stupid, but I hadn't even thought of that! OTOH, after fully researching the top companies, the bottom feeders and considering who's hiring/firing and who's actually PAYING drivers for what they do, I reaally do want to go with WS, and it would be worth the extra money to me to get on with them.
Also, they pay half the bill anyway, so in 1.5 yrs, it's paid off at $25/wk. I'll put up with some idiosyncracies to get on with a good legal job for people who aren't out to scroo me over.
The only down I've gotten was a mention of the Dalton crew, where I'll be running out of; evidently there are some personality issues there. I'll just have to trust my bubbly personality to overcome that.

 

Sorry, my test was done by the VA, so it was free. My heart problems occurred under duress in the Coast Guard, so I'm covered. I'd imagine it would be near a thousand at today's prices, but I'm not sure. An echocardiogram done by a nurse's aid costs NINE HUNDRED BUCKS! That's just a flippin' RECORDING! Of course, a doctor has to read it, but still...we're in the wrong business, huh?
If you do get a stress test, by treadmill and not chemically induced, you may not make it to or past the running stage; that does not disqualify you, it just means you're not in great condition. I got to stage two of the running and my leg cramped up; heart was doing fine. They really wear you out on the walking stages, coming up gradually. I didn't think I could run at all, but made it. All they care about though, is how the heart handles what your body considers stress.
