who do you drive for outta NE IN? Cookie?

you can go 4 ft in the front. idaho allows 5 ft.
generally you can go 4 ft in the rear. before needing flags and lights. anything over that needs permits, but that varies by state. co doesn't require unless it's over 10 ft. az allows 6 or 7. can't remember which. nm i think is 8.
wyoming goes by length for the most part.
if you got 4 feet in the rear. put it in the front instead. then you don't have to worry about it. or whatever your chosing may be.
just about every load i haul has always been in the front to limit the rear hang if there's gonna be some. no one wants to buy permits if they don't have to.
that's speaking from the western side of course, i'm not knowledgeable on the eastern side. -
Going by the title, I thought it was going to be about this guy .......

This was a weird ranch fence place in Texas that has the load all mapped out and does all the straps and everything. I don't carry 2" straps and they require them so I had to buy 13 from them. So anyway, they loaded and secured entire load, more like racking then fencing.
It's got 13 2" straps and 13 4" straps, and weighs 17k.
Made it up to WI without incident so I guess I'm good. Deliver the first part Monday about 15 miles away.
