OK. I know this is a smart ##### statement, but, if I'm rolling through PA (any state) and since they are so strict, does this mean I don't have to stop at the Weight stations since they are
    not on my Permit??

No actually, I have a question. If a fuel stop is not on the permit, at sun down, can you pull into a weigh station, park the truck, drop the trailer, go get fuel and come back??? At this point, you are not a truck/trailer.

    Thanks

Pa isn't very strict at all. I've never worried about getting off a exit in pa if I really needed something. Seen plenty of guys drop at a wide spot and rest areas but you could park at a truck stop to.

As long as it doesn't say not to do that on your permit, or there are signs in the weigh station that say no overnight parking, you shouldn't have a problem with doing that. I have parked overnight in a scale before when they had signs saying that it was not allowed, but I did go in the scale and ask if it was ok to do so.

    G/MAN Thanks this.

Regarding Strobes. I have a Volvo 670. Any suggestion on where to mount the strobes?

I was thinking of 2. 1 on each mirror. I would put it on the top, but, I think it might be a lot of wiring not to mention I don't really want to penetrate the upper skin of my truck.

Sorry. Been away for a while. Regarding mounting. If I mount them on the Fairing, I guess I would wire through the fairing and down underneeth the cab, to the front in through the firewall and to the Fuse /Circut breaker box?

    Thanks

Kinda the same question regarding front mount flags. Do the banners with the flag mounts work at all?? Or, am I back to punching holes in my plastic bumper.

    Thanks

The truck I mostly use has mirrors on the fenders that work well for attaching flags. I wrap a bungee around the flag pole and it works just fine. I thought about making some flag holders out of pvc pipe, but have never gotten around to doing it. I don't think it would be difficult to make some for a plastic bumper without damaging the bumper.

Yeah. I have a Volvo 670 and I don't really want to start putting holes in it. Trying to keep it stock so if I sell it in the next 2 years, it will be an ok trade in.

Hi again. Anyone out there have any suggestion regarding Mirror mount strobes for a Volvo Truck.

Been looking for a pair for some time with no luck.

    Thanks
