Getting your permits on your own is easy if you have all your info and routing plus its cheaper and faster. Some states you still have to use a permit service though.

I can get permits for 16' wide 105 long 17 high to go from southern california to kansas in about 5 hours. Total is CA-$16 AZ-$30 NM-$25 TX $20 OK-$18 KS- (annual so I dont know).

I cant understand paying someone $200 or $300 for what I can do from my couch in an evening... Everything is online, google it.

Throwing up the BS flag! at 16' 105' 17' you hit super load catagory, permits take anywhere between 3-10 days and average about 100 plus dollars!

you dont the minum fee for a sigle is i do believe 60.00 for Tx i buy 90day and those are only good for i do believe 14 wide and legal wieght!
I do believe Guntoter is confused as to pricing. Most states you can no longer order your own permits or buy at the scale house. NM and AZ you can up to 14 wide then it becomes a class"C" permit and has to be ordered through the state office
