Oversize provisions

    ALL OVERSIZE LOADS must pull into open scales everywhere period! unless you have alot of cash and time on yer hands!

    You may get the green light for the bypass lane or the red light to scale. If you get the green light for the bypass just pull up of the side of the ramp or behind the scale house and walk in your permit. She is a very nice lady takes about 2 min. to do. If you get the red light then she will come over the speaker and tell you to bring in your permit. Its more of a check the block thing then anything. If I get the bypass lane i just pull up off the ramp cause i dont like going around back unless i have to.

    Yeah we dont have prepass i just meant if he gets in the scale and they give him the bypass lane. sorry should have specified that.

    yeah 1 less reason for them to come out and inspect me. I value my daylight especially since its getting less and less every day.

    If given the bypass lane in Il. I keep on going.
    Do not do that in Ga. Though. Allways to the rear and pull on the scales...
