Saw one of those huge boxes rolling last week and thought of @catalinaflyer , but when I saw 20' or so of tarp on top ripped almost in half and blowing...nah, can't be. Reached for the mic, then thought "if you and your escorts can't see that......"

Well I'd like to think you'd never see me with a tarp blowing but it has happened however only till the next spot where I can get pulled off to fix it. I've watched our own drivers say eff it and just keep going, I'm certainly not one of those! I'd rather fix a loose tarp now instead of replacing the entire tarp later today.

I had a huge gen set on last year, had that plastic shrink wrap on it, the wind got the better of it going across Nebraska and it was flapping, was going to hit the next exit and cut it off, state trooper rolled up and hits the lights as I'm gearing down for the exit. I ended up getting a ticket for unsecured tarp.

Not just "had a little pooch in it", getting pretty close to not having to take it to the dump with the right guard rail or getting under the trailer tires!

That's the modern day driver IDGAF mentality unfortunately.

That would piss me off right there! It's not a tarp, it doesn't have D-rings or grommets, how are YOU supposed to secure it? Any reasonable officer should understand that, this just sounds like a BS ticket, knowing it's going to cost you more to take the effort to fight it, than to pay it...

Personally, I like the blue ones from Harbor Freight. Nice and light, one-way use ones...Ba Hahahaha...!
