Truthfully there all about the same. Change your location to somewhere they like, northeast makes it difficult to get home, get a po box, and somewhere else, If you have friends somewhere south like kentucky or where ever, use your friends address and get a license from there.
Your only trapped if you believe you are, stop whinning and go to work. SWIFT by the way has a very good training program. Better than the Wilson. Dont go to Wilson.
Anyway pull up yur suspenders, jump into your boots, put the excuses away and go to work.

Prime and Wilson say no because of work history, even explaining I had retired. Stevens has vanished. Swift recruiter just told me they aren’t hiring from the NE right now (NH).
I sorta thought Swift’d take anyone from anywhere.
I don’t think it would be much different if I got my CDL privately would it (state employment grant) the 3 years empty employment would still be a stumbling block?Chinatown Thanks this. -
Are you in a situation so you can change your address to another state?
a.paul Thanks this. -
Or are you suggesting I just use someone’s address as another poster mentioned?
the employment thing would be a stumbling block even if I got bp my CDL privately (state grant) wouldn’t it? -
Of course, there’s also a chance the Swift recruiter who calls me will say something different as the one I got when I called...since the site is still listing me as being in the hiring area.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Some company will hire you from a private/community college/tech school cdl program.

You can still keep the place where you live and still change your address for CDL purposes through the Escapees RV Club I mentioned in an earlier post. Several drivers on this forum have done that. One, last week, changed his to Florida.
Yes, as another poster suggested, use a friend or relative address in another state. Probably need to get a fake rental or lease aggreement to show you live there. -
I’m just concerned I’d get found out. Historically my luck isn’t that good
