#1, You are going to have a very hard time finding a chassis that the tires will last to Mi and back. Some of the BNSF chassis have budd wheels and decent tires, but they are still recaps.
#2, I believe I would try to find a load back from Mi.Aiken Thanks this. -
How much would the ticket be for violating the kingpin law and opening your spread? Would they let you roll with the ticket?
Aiken Thanks this. -
The 10.00-20 tires are crap even when they look brand new. I popped about 6 last year
Need a longhaul chassis with 11R-22.5'sAiken Thanks this. -
We still working on it. I think I will have rigging company shake this container so the load will shift forward. The customer still would not let us open the doors. May be I should call homeland security, tell them that it is suspicious container. They will come over, open it, unload and reload themselves

What scales are you stuck at ? And yes to what landstar said, It's your "Baby" once you left the port and you are fully responsible for it. Another thing, I've seen certain scales(only very few, depends who's running them) let you return to point of origin to adjust weight with citation in hand.
-
You still working on this?? Whatever happened?? -
Yeah, I'm definitely interested in finding out the resolution so we might be able to help someone else.
-
Lesson learned.....LS figures you know what you're doing since now you are with "the best of the best"............

Hint, buy a trailer and install on-board scales on both tractor and trailer!! Even for now at least on the tractor.......
