    I'm going to chalk this one up to company. They will lie on them bills to try to move a little more. Dock does that from time to time.

    When I drove for ups and also here at coke any non driving related tickets are the companies problem so I would imagine you are in the same boat.

    Mine didn't want to pay.

    Even though I called the office FOUR times to make sure I was legal.

    And I WAS legal. Except for Oregon.

    No, rear trailer tandems were over almost 9k total, gross over 1,040 and we have a sliding 5th wheel

    A sliding 5th wheel won't do anything to take your 9k off the trailer and on to the drives.

    But if you make your steers up to 13k. And put some weight on the drives. You can burn enough fuel to lose some of that 1k over gross. Provided your tanks are full to start with.

    They do that a lot. I got one in joilet said 22k. Felt funny. I put it on scale. Tandems to the rear I still had 38,000 on trailer.

    At least they pay it, it's a $900.00 ticket, they didnt give us the over gross ticket. We have run WILD Team for over a year and NEVER had this happen. We got paid for riding in tow truck, the miles, and 8 hours breakdown each. U live how this company takes care of their employees!!
