    The guy comes on here to learn and you all jump on him. Cut him some slack and do some teaching without getting your panties all in a wad.

    Ok while I understand your question, you offer what they accept. If it is too low the you will get a rejection or a counter offer.

    As my bep is for me only to know, I generally tell a couple drivers what I expect them to get, about $2.5 per mile plus Fsc and any accessorial fees at the very bottom, the HH trucks are a lot more.

    Again, im not trying to get a break even number for everyone as everyone has a different number. If I can get a ball park range then it will help me know what to charge. If you have a more efficient truck then you will make more money but that is dependent on everyones break even...which is what im trying to find out.

    Are you trying to determine what to charge a customer based on what it costs to run a truck rather than what the market will bear?

    again it has nothing to do with what MY break even point is..... it's what you are willing to pay..... my break even is under $1.00 a mile how much under only i need to know.... i can make money at $1.07 plus fsc will i pull loads that cheap HELL NO

    I have no problems sharing info, an wish somebody share the info with me as well. Its why i replied, but here's the numbers. Honest numbers as well.

    Let's remember diesel price fluctuate-49k diesel 15 k preventive maintenance14k insurance 2.4k registration 3.5k tolls 2k hotels and permits etc 25k. 25 on what???? I'm with my family and don't have time to list it all. Dinner is done.

    if i wanted a "salary" of only $50K i'd sell my truck and go back to being a company driver.... wait.... i'd make more than 50k as a company driver..... i made 50k so far this year and i've been home 45 days.....
