I think 78% is pretty good with the trailer rental. You have your own freight or direct customers? Are you dispatching all your trucks?

Can you get a guy in Kansas City home weekends?

Did someone say you should break even? Again, every driver should know what their break even $ per mile is so that they can know how much they are or arent making on a load.

I was asked a specific question and that was the answer. If someone asks me a question like that even if I put a disclaimer should I just not answer and say almatyk3 doesnt want me to answer you?

If you need to ask questions about running a trucking business, that's fine. Just do it without the advertising spiel.

To Truckon: The guy didn't come on here to "learn". He came on here to find drivers and see how cheap he could pay them.
And there is a lot of bad info on here as well. Should we just let that slide without questioning it?
When I bought my first truck in 1977, my dad "jumped all over me" when I did something stupid.
    I can't thank him enough.

Someone asked me a specific question where the answer was what we offered to drivers.
So if a trucking company wants to hire high quality drivers and wonders what they would need to pay them, they cannot try and see what the market is paying drivers? Come on guys. Just because someone wants to know what the average market rate for owner operators is, doesn't mean they are trying to cut their current drivers pay (as someone said already) and it doesnt meant that they are trying to get people for as cheap as possible. It sounds like some of you have been burned before and for that im sorry but you shouldn't go through life missing opportunities because of past experiences.
