    I started elogs as a company driver and ran 3600 a week legally. Leasing a new truck for almost a year. My biggest concern is my fuel. I have a new truck and it's been in the shop 3 times for the same problem in 2 months something I didn't expect. If you've never driven otr try a company first then go on your own.

    If he was at the receiver to unload his load, there is nothing saying he can't unload. He can work on line 4 until this time next year, its driving again that would be the problem.

    I use E-Cigs. I also use a Cpap when I sleep. Would using a C Pap drain the battery? Also is it possible to buy a truck, hire a driver. Once it starts paying for itself buy another truck and so on. Is this even feasible?

    Talk to companies you're interested in and ask about the CPAP machine. Some companies have diesel APU, so you won't run down the battery.
    Your CPAP machine will need the download feature to show the last 90 days of usage. You'll only get a 12 mos. DOT medical card because of the CPAP machine.

    No not if you are worrying about a very trivial thing as elogs, you will fail quickly.

    No not a driver. Just looking at options. Elogs might be a trivial thing to some. Others it might be very important. I assumed this was a spot to ask questions and get view points from others who are experienced in the field. It was a question to learn so I can make a decision and explore all issues I read on these forums. I ask a question to gain knowledge which actually helps people not fail. Thanks for your response!
