Owner operator don’t get paid correctly

    I worked for a trucking company over 4 years. I have two trucks. I trust the guy so I newer even think he take any money from me. So after I start asking rate confirmations he start acting not nice. Few month later I figured out he’s not taking only 10%! He take way more sometimes. I start a case but before he get first letter from my lawyer he “sold” the company. Just actually change the name and he put him self as a manager. I don’t want to say a names yet but make sure all of you asking for rate confirmation !

    So many carrier not provide the rate confirmation! If you owner operators you have to see rate confirmation. That’s the law !

    Steven76...Do You realize how often that happens??
    Your not the First....

    Lessees get screwed over daily by carriers big and small doctoring freight rates.
    It's wrong on so many levels....You think your getting 75% of 100% leasing on to someone, But When it comes down to Brass Tacks and you initiate force to see a true Rate that Carrier has with their Customer....All Heck breaks loose

    Happens Everywhere- Yet No-one wants to Face it or do anything about it because either "They Have Bills" or "I don't know what to do to find out the truth"

    Been going on a long,long time. No Honesty nor Integrity with Many Carriers or Brokers . Unless you get a True Negotiated Contract from said Shippers From your carrier- DOT BELIEVE ANYTHING.
