Per Amazon promotion they require a carrier to have 3 trucks (power only) to haul for them however I went to their website relaypartner.com which provides a form to have Amazon lease you. This website says one has to have 5 trucks. Is this a new thing of them? I also noticed there is precious little info about their OO program for the last year, is it dead? Are they still accepting OOs?

Don't waste your time if you're a one or two man operation. From what I've read their rates are skin and bones anyways.ibcalm19 Thanks this. -
Is this why none of the big players swift jb hunt Schneider etc haven't given them a bunch of power units to move their trailers? Cuz the deal is horrible. Prey on the unwitting smaller guy who as long as he's doing business with Amazon he overlooks the shortage of ramen noodles on the dinner table

There rates are trash... you would have to actually own all 5 trucks and have very minimal debt to make any money with them... drivers today want $10,000 a week to drive for you so you yourself would have to drive as well.

If one wants to get an idea of Amazon is a good deal, just look at some of the trash pulling Amazon trailers. Kinda reminds me of some of the trash pulling containers around here

But hey it’s so cool making The richest guy in the world richer buy hauling his freight for peanuts! Maybe they will even give you Prime for free!
