It's not too hard for me to gross $7500 on 3000 loaded in a dry van right now, with a reefer that should be even easier. Just Midwest. Don't do them coast to coast runs. Unless you can avg $2.50 loaded mile, or actually $1250/day avg. I know guys who are killing it right now with reefer. But I won't do reefer. I'm just a steering wheel holder.

I gross between 900 and 2700 per day gross. Dry van. East of the Rockies. My trailer is rented for $350 a month.
My average (mean) is 1427.49 per day. I don't haul cheap but I don't set either. I would run Kansas City to Denver but never Denver to Kansas City. I go on short hops out of Denver but not for less then 900 so far.
Remember, you not the brokers, control your rate.
Power only freight seems to be the future for lots of ex company drivers. I did it for a while but found the pay is way too cheap.Oldironfan, 77fib77 and Toomanybikes Thank this. -
I run by myself and never want to work that hard again! But could info for those who do thanx!
