Well it sounds like this is pretty much a standard contract then. Thats basically what I was wondering. No, they dont require a cdl. Some of the expedite companies want a class C, but lots of them dont. Load 1 is also based out of Taylor and they are a mega carrier, that may be who you are thinking of. These guys have just started up I think, but you may know of them I guess.

I know who they are, but not much more than that.
I also know Load one and John Elliot personally.
Are they going after expedite freight or just general freight? -
Well since im going to be doing it in a van I would have to assume expedite.
-
Well there is still a lot of airport traffic coming out of metro so it could be that. I don't know but good luck.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah im not going to be doing short runs, long haul stuff. Thanks for the good luck. Something I just thought about. Right now its just registered as my personal vehicle. Do I need to have commercial plates on it? I tried to look stuff up via google, and I learned the difference between a commercial MOTOR vehicle and just a commercial vehicle, but still couldnt find any info weather I need commercial plates or not. Im under 10,000 gvwr.
