I'm also going to repeat one of my earlier comments. This thread is in the wrong forum.

Yeah, and while we're all setting the OP straight, it's "experience", not "experiance". :)

Nice! I've seen pictures of them before, but never seen one on the road.

The Orange W9 pick up was mine. One of the toughest decisions I ever made to sell it.It killed me. I had to sell it
To get the down payment up to buy my farm. I'm not a farmer ,but we fell in love with it and it has a big commercial shop

I just used it as my avitar to remember how much I loved that truck. Yeah,a big toy ,but cool non the less. Modified 454 big block,t400 tranny , 4x4 on 44" tires. Sounded like a drag car and could spin all 4 tires. Custom built from the ground up. I didn't build it ,I'm not that talented, I bought it that way.

Thanks. I sold mine 3 times on eBay.lol. The first 2 were dreamers with no money ,and the actual buyer was a 64 year old guy who signed himself out of the hospital after having 2 stents put in and showed up in hospital pants with blood on them bent over holding his stomach.
He had a crazy red headed woman with him ,he handed me the cash and he drove that truck from North east PA
To West Virginia. I offered to help, wouldn't hear of it. He said he was an iron man and this was nothing.I guess he survived the trip ,he gave me positive feedback

Regardless of your opinion of the topic. It's not cool to become a grammar or spelling policeman. It adds nothing to the subject and shows how uncouth you are.

So, if I'm uncouth, that means you are couth? Wow! You must be one kind of a refined and special forum participant!

Get a life, sir. It was a little levity in the midst of some serious soup stirring, that's all.

The OP obviously knows how to spell experience, he uses the word (spelled correctly) in some of his replies.

That's the great thing about America! You have the opportunity to pursue your goals and dreams. If this is something you want to do, then go for it.

Company driver experience only helps you with the hands on part of trucking. It does not help much with only having 2 grand in the bank being 1000 miles away from home and getting an estimate of $2500 to get something fixed and make a truck payment. There are a lot of carriers that lease on several trucks owned by a single person. Just before I retired I was offered a job driving for an OO whom had his truck leased to MCT. THIS in my humble opinion is what any newbie wanting to get into truck ownership and with limited or no experience should do. You get to see the other side of the coin plus be a bit protected while learning the ropes.

Edited to add you also get a size 10 up your tail pipe much quicker for not taking care of a truck.
