Good lawyers are a good thing. They've helped keep my record clean when I need them..
I have spent less on attorneys than I would have made running legal.

How long does it take you to eat, shower and fuel? 3 hours is a long time. Sounds like some loafing going on...

63 mph is just an estimate. I've done alot faster in just about every state. Keep the left door close, the xm turned off, the CB turned on. Work when your rested. And sleep when your tired.
It's not that big of a challenge.

If your in a crash, just get a good lawyer. I doubt very seriously, that even if you run legal, you'll be able to get out of killing someone if you don't have a good lawyer.

    If you ask a mathmetition what 1 + 1 is, he'll tell you 2.
If you ask a world scholar what 1 + 1 is, He'll tell you 2.
You ask a good lawyer what 1 + 1 is, he'll ask you "What do you want it to be?"

Thats what I do as well, Run hard till I can't run no more. And talking bout being an OUTLAW, I hauled an empty FUEL tanker on my drop deck from China Lake Ca. to Bloomington, Ca. to be repaired. The catch is it still had jet fuel fumes in it and fuel in the lines, so what did I do since the place of origin DID NOT have the legal paper to show HAZMAT, I duct tape all the placards and jet fuel signs etc., on the tanker, and did some trucking. Only took the load cause I was there delivering a jet engine and wanted the back load. Now, is that an OUTLAW or what ? Like southern pride , said, YOU GOTTA DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO, to survive this days. :biggrin_25511:

The rules and regs is put in place for our safety and the public man safety too. I like regs cause I like time to rest up good and maybe play a video game too after a shower and some grub. The dispatch is there to send trucks to loads and the qualcomm is more of a friend in the cab than some big brother box to annoy you. Companies take care of all the hasle for a driver and makes it where he can live and work off a cell phone 24/7 beggin for work. Sure, gettin stuck way off is not good over a weekend but you can sometimes slip to a motel and get a swim if there is one and sleep in a bed if that is what you need. A man can easily drive for a company EVEN ENGLAND OR SWIFT and make 40+ and be safe and steady.

I like wearing shorts and sandles and a nice clean t-shirt. Fancy 379/w900 HERO boots and jeans are nice if't a line dance is where you are headed but if you are driving for 8 hours, that is hot feet and ### sweat and no comforrt. Who are you tryin to impress in the cab? A lot lizard wants your cash and a waitriss these days either is trouble or married to a cop so forget that. Most of your female steering wheel holders look like a lumper with lumps so you might as well be cool and comfortable unless you are needin to tarp or it is winter.

Enoughof this, I'm going to play some games, watch a little tv and hit the rack before I get it rolling early in the morning. Sometimes I don't believe that I am the only real one that jist wants a good check and some free time to my self. Who can do all the dispatching without some looking after- dispatch is good if you act right and do your job without #####in and switchin...so and so is paying an xtra 2 cent and xyz dispatch yelled when I was late hope they don't screw my Dac- i DON'T HAVE THEM PROBLEMS CAUSE i'M PROFESSIONAL AND NICE AND LAID BACK

I like onion rings but if they ain't got them I'll eat fries and leave a tip...KNOW WHAT I MEAN, strait pipe heros?

When your picking up or making a delivery, do you represent yourself as a professional (the way you dress) ? I ask you this with all do of respect, my curious mind wants to know.:biggrin_2558:
