We paid our drivers 28%-30% (T4 employees), I wouldn't even think of trying to operate a truck on that little.
When we were contracted on percentage, the truck was receiving 88% or 75% (their trailer).
ETA: And these were trucks that were earning ~$350,000-$400,000/year.Last edited: Dec 30, 2018
Hotpat Thanks this. -
Thank you for that. The percentage I quoted (31%) is the amount I receive after all expenses. That is the 22% taken by the company (giving me the OO 78%, fuel, license, insurance etc) . I am a new OO and just trying to understand what kind of average other OO's are making after all deductions.not4hire Thanks this.

Seems rip off. I as O/O is making average $16 to $18k per month.

How much do you net? And with truck payments or no payments? Own authority or company?

I'm gonna take a guess and say if he is getting 16-18k(gross)he is probably seeing 7-9(net) take home. Plus or minus 1k.Champagne mane Thanks this.
