Have you thought about asking him why the numbers don't match? I mean in a reasonable, "I don't understand this" non-confrontational way?
You know, a conversation. Like reasonable folks have with each other.RustyBolt and average joe Thank this. -
This could be the difference in the numbers the o/p see's, and as such, is not entitled to any of it, Until he man's up and asks the o/o, what would WE really know??
He's very quick to say that
sounds like a typical steering wheel holder that everything is his. I pity the day he get's his own truck. -
dngrous_dime and G.Anthony Thank this.
-
Just drive your dam truck and be done with it, or here's a novel idea...QUIT..>!! -
You agreed to 25%. 25% of what? 25% of gross less the broker fees? 25% of the overall gross?
It sounds like you're doing a bunch of short hauls so there could be a fuel surcharge built into his contract that would be a small amount on a $100 load. I'd prob ask your boss instead of an Internet forum.G.Anthony Thanks this. -
SO, the O/O is the middle guy. If the broker gets paid, and you get paid, then who pays him....he pays him. He's got expenses...and well...his extra little monies cover that. -
Big boy running, All I have to say is go with your GUT you have all these people out here running scams man don't be nobodies fool GO WITH YOUR GUT BRO. If it doesn't feel right to you then don't do it or change your situation.

Like was already said, have a candid, non confrontational talk with the boss. This will clear a lot of things up. If you still do not like it then move on. No reason to get upset about it, there are other trucks out there. -
