    Ya I dont know. I'm still leased with Mercer for now but wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

    I pull a flat and generally stay in the greater midwest... Freight has been lacking... Lots of deadheading or lots of sitting...

    I very rarely go anywhere west of I-35 not because I dont like it out west, but Mercer on the west coast blows... Big time lack of freight... Mercer is the only company I know of that has drivers sitting in California for a week waiting on a load...

    Yeah I'm sitting in California myself right now and I see 3 Mercer trucks here since Monday. Hopefully tomorrow something will pop up to east.

    Get a local job, home nightly with benefits and retirement package and enjoy life.

    The owner operator OTR life is nothing but a rat race getting worse and worse...
