Can you bring your own truck, or does it have to be their truck? If it has to be their truck then in my book it goes under their authority and you are an employee getting a W2. If it's YOUR truck then you pay all the fuel and expenses and should get about 80-85% of the line haul billed to the customer.

1099, they pay for fuel, and they compensate me for my work 40 cents per mile from the start. They transport cars, airplane small parts, some kind engines, i dont know more than this, but reason why i asked it here, i just can not catch their hidden idea. Why they hire only after when i register company on my name to transport their cargo on their trucks? they are located in Pittsburgh, and work only With North East region.

Well, you aren't alone. I don't think any of us are catching the idea here. This is truly a weird deal they are offering. Like others have said, turn it down. If you don't fully understand something the last thing you want is to get involved with forming a company and having that responsibility.

You are right, I'm sorry for my rude post. I'm all for spreading the knowledge wagon to everyone. Now that I'm home and dry, I can open up this brain and not worry about the job at hand at the current time.

This company pays $0.40 per mile. BUT they pretty obviously want to avoid payroll taxes. You would be responsible for that and you have no benefits. The real pay will be quite a bit less. You'll have to file quarterly taxes.

This is an old stinky fish wrapped in fresh newspaper. There are a lot of companies that tried to do the same thing, but pay the person a 1099. They are losing class action lawsuits right and left. This company seems to have thought up a new legal fig leaf to say you are an "independent contractor".

The opportunity blows. Run from these scam artists.
