Not confusing anything Jon. I meant what I said. I never said anything about Gross revenue but if you want the breakdown of one weeks pay here it is:
Date: 9-15-19 to 9-21-19
Gross Payment $5,085.62
Broker 10% 508.56 $
Fuel / Money Codes 1,036.81 $
Insurance 275.00 $
Total $3,265.25
Miles 2859.18
Estimated Cost 5,085.62 $
Rate x mile 1.78
AGAIN this is Amazon's "Linehaul program" and you could read it for yourself on the link I provided.

Never mind a truck maintenance percentage just go spend it on home remodeling. Who cares about taxes and the countless other expenses. Seeing who's out here pulling Amazon trailers it's no surprise.Eldiablo and Western flyer Thank this.

Amazon will get the kind of drivers it deserves. Lets see where this whole thing is a year from now.
In the meantime I think I'd give them and their freight a good leaving alone.PPLC and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
Jon you're absolutely right! I meant to detail the net proceedings of his work week. I will tell you that drop/hook'ing lite loads with <10K miles in a month is pretty #### good. Not to mention that he's already paying $275 per week on insurance on those weekly payouts. The only thing left here is general wear/tear with one oil change pr/mo. Hey all in all I think its worth it.Buck73 Thanks this.

My sister-in-law works for USPS. She says Amazon pays USPS $0.02 per package for them to deliver Amazon packages. They are running the route anyway, but that still seems awfully cheap. You also have to consider that most Amazon packages won’t fit in a mailbox, so the carrier has to take them to the front porch.InTooDeep and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

you are getting ripped off, at 1.78 pm
let’s just say I run way less then you and pull in more money.
last week worked 3 days pulled 4k Gross on 1000 miles.
week before that is 6k gross on 1700 miles.
goes to show you if you look outside of amazon what you can find. -

Except that the rate attachment is old and from one state.
-
Don't choke on stupid.
-
Nope. But you can stun it with a 2x4.
Seriously, though. That rate sheet is old and shows 1 region. If you're complaining about the rates and your an owner/OP, your stupid for looking at Amazon in the first place. It's for a business hiring company drivers. That's all. Realize it for what it is.
