I have never heard one good thing about working with Amazon, I've heard plenty of bad, and visually see the cluster at the Vegas warehouse which is visible from I-15. They are on my No Go list.
When I hear Amazon the first thing that comes to mind is cheap. -
I run Amazin drop and hook through another carrier and I've never ran anything under $2. All light loads and I'm usually in and out under 30 mins. I think the issue is who you book through and how many times the pay gets busted down. Only carriers with 3 trucks or more can book loads. If you get a amazon load from the load boards it's not directly from Amazon so you know now it had passed through at least one other company before you got it so the rate you get has now been cut due to the original carrier getting a cut and maybe a broker as well. I came in after the holiday rush so I can imagine what the peak season will be like.jbgrim72 Thanks this.
