I would like to know if Sammons hires out of Florida? I have hauled used equip. to the ports for over seas sales and wonder if you guys do any of this.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Florida is ok but living in Northern Florida is a plus.

Joe,
I'm VERY interested in your program. Would Sammons allow my wife,NON CDL as of yesterday, to Lease Purchase one of these trucks and LET me drive it? She is now a Freight Agent NEEDING a stepdeck (preferably covered wagon) with loads for This truck, for the next 3-10 years. All loads paying $2+ dollars a mile.
I have 35+ years OTR with Flatbed,Reefer,Van,Fuel Tanker,Enddump and some Lowboy,Cat 740 offroad experience. My medical is due 1/28/2012,License 2/11/2013,TWIC 2015 with NO tickets, accidents, etc. NO hazmat, use to have but now to much B.S. and money.
I ALSO keep up with your company on the truckersreport.com.
If this is something WE could do,PLEASE let me know!!!
Thank You for your time,

SheepDog Thanks this. -
We can lease the truck to you and your wife. If she has a freight base we can oils sign her on as an agent.

I sent you a PM back.

2 Years OTR and a year of flatbed. Good MVR, PSP, driving record and attitude.

If the truck makes $18700....then 26% would be $4862 not $2300...I think their $2300 is a little LOW! -
You don't get 26% of the fuel surcharge. The truck gets all of that. The $2300 is a number we feel comfortable telling people. There are good months and bad months. We average over $1.70 a mile but under 11000 miles a month. You need to remember although you can work all month sometimes you may want some time off.
trucker43 Thanks this.
