People finding themselves on their own and out of work, but still wanting and willing to work. It takes something like this to get people moving, when you realize what you're looking for isn't available, it's motivation enough to risk rolling your own.

    D.Tibbitt and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I first became an O/O for pay parity. Only having less than 3 yrs experience, I couldn’t get the higher paying jobs out there. There were just too many Drivers with more experience and Union Seniority that had priority on any decent openings. Bought a Truck, and went straight to the top. .80 cpm. Lol. Amazingly, made a decent living at that, rivaling my lost Union wage.Even bought health insurance that was the same coverage, I’d lost, for $320 a month. Excellent coverage. Same as Teamsters.

I’ve never heard of non recordable? Maybe non chargeable? You get into a fender bender, it’s either chargeable, meaning it’s your fault, or not. Everyone’s had minor mishaps, especially in the first year. Yours are very minor. Shouldn’t even affect your hireability. Just be honest, because really, no ticket, no charge.Theyre mainly interested in how your mvr looks, for insurance reasons. Stuck in mud, while in yard, Lol. That’s not an incident. That’s a set of Bald tires in a mud hole of a company yard. Not even worth mentioning. I don’t know why some of these idiots at certain Companies try to convince a Driver that they’re all washed up, Lol. Screw them. Keep looking, lots of decent jobs,to be found. Plenty of time to figure out the O/O thing, when all this stuff is over.
