Owner Operators what are your biggest issues now?

Ok, a quite literal TEOTWAWKI. We can only pray their wrong.

 

No real new problems and just the usual lazy incompetent drivers we are forced to share the road with these days .

Man that just can’t be true! Anyone who is someone on this site will tell you an old pre emission engine/truck will only ever make you money and be stupid simple to fix with super available parts! What you speak is heresy!

My biggest issue as an owner operator is other owner operators and how they don’t know how to run their own business…

 

Really? I'm not trying to sound like an ### but I absolutely love it when I see how clueless some people are that get in to this. I don't think I have all the answers by any stretch but foolish people give me hope!

If I EVER go OTR I have to rely on the load boards, which are a good part in line with how other OOs operate them.

Im lucky in a sense I have a large portion of local hourly work but when the time comes I still need to fill the gaps with OTR….. and management of rates by certain OOs bring the load board rates down - that’s what I hate.
